A true gem in the Gem City, Dayton Country Club is an 18 hole visually striking track with many features seen on Donald Ross classics.  The only eyesores on an otherwise spectacular course were the bunkers not draining and sand washing out after a rain event.  After years of neglect and countless man hours spent on maintaining bunkers, a new rim drain drainage system was put in while giving the bunker's shape a facelift. The design was executed by Topp Shape with the collaboration of superintendent Ryan D'Autremont.

Dayton Country Club had the distinct honor of working with Topp Shape for our bunker renovation project in the Fall of 2014. Tom Topp and his staff were energetic, efficient, and had a keen eye for detail. The project, in conjunction with some favorable weather, finished ahead of schedule and right on budget. The bunkers opened for play the following Spring to rave reviews from the membership and continue to be one of the highlights of the property. I, as well as the Dayton Country Club staff,  look forward to working with Topp Shape for our other renovation projects for many years to come.
